Commented Judgments – Today’s Maxim

On 4 October 2019, the Labour Section of the Court of Cassation (Judgment no. 24880) established that an employer is liable for damage to its employee, provided that the employer’s behaviour can be qualified as bullying, where the employee, demoted from his/her position of supervisor, is being supervised by a lower-ranked employee and his/her health is put at risk.
